Great bang for the buck September 7, 2009

I haven't tried the more expensive headsets but I am very happy with this one. I use it in the car and at home to keep my hands free but I noticed when I'm somewhere with more ambient noise it is more difficult for the person I'm talking to - they can't hear me as well. Again, don't know if this happens with other headsets or not. I will probably buy one for my husband and daughter to use in the car.

This bluetooth is a great value for the money. The audio is very good both incoming and outgoing. I accidently dropped the unit into a cup of coffee, dried it out and it is working fine. Wearing it for a long period of time can become uncomfortable. It holds a charge fairly well.

I had the pink version but it got washed in the washing machine. I tried Jabbra and Motorola, but neither were as good as the Plantronics. I saw this and jumped at the chance to buy it again! It's comfortable, clear, and a great price (half the cost of the pink one!) what more can you ask for?

Yes, the plantronics explorer 330 looked like a good deal on amazon, considering it was 70% less than it's original retail value of $100, however, there are better ones out there for that same lower price of $20. Positives is it has a long battery life and it was extremely easy to connect to my blackberry. The negative is that the sound quality is bad. It has a slight crackling and you can hear static the entire time you talk on it. I'm disappointed in this product, especially after a friend of mine recommended a cheaper motorola headset and I went against his advice.

Works well............ when you are not moving (walking) or if you are indoors. If I am on the phone in the car and continue the conversation after I park and get out, it's nothing but static on the other end.
It has NO noise cancelling technology so walking, wind, background noise, all get picked up.
It works well in the car which is what I bought it for primarily but other than that it's worthless.
My wife has the Plantronics Voyager 510 and it is MUCH better. The newer models are even better I understand. Get that instead.
