rating based on price May 20, 2010 J. Tsiboukis (bay area, ca) I got the headset on a great sale and for the price I paid it was fine. It really only works well in quiet environments and people with deep voices are difficult to understand, but it got me by until I got a jawbone 2 and then finally a voyager pro (by far my favorite bluetooth headset).
For reference, my 04 f150 was too loud inside for people to hear me if I was doing more than 35mph with this headset.
Love It March 13, 2010 K.J. This thing is nice and small with a truly comfortable fit. Audio quality is good on both sides and its easy to forget Im using it. Ive been through 4-5 other bluetooth devices and this is the best one (and longest lasting, 1+yrs).
I loved it while it was working. February 15, 2010 Christine Higgins (Cocoa Beach, Florida) I purchased it, it arrived very quickly. I loved it. But, I mean a big but.... it has already stopped working. It didn't even last thirty days. Since, you only have seven days to return it... I am out a lot of money.
Entirely Inadequate May 23, 2009 N. Condon This is a particularly disappointing headset. It's small and light, but that is all it has to recommend it. Turning the power on or off using the "mutlifunction" button is inconsistent, frequently requiring 2-3 attempts to get it to register. The Bluetooth connection is very weak; if the phone is to my right in the car, putting the earpiece in my left ear results in an intermittent signal. The volume, for both listening and speaking, is far too low, so in a car, I have to strain to hear what my correspondent is saying while shouting my own words so that I can be understood over the road noise.
In short, it performs none of the functions one would like in a headset adequately, and is a near-complete failure of a product.
Too bad; wont stay put May 2, 2009 Mona Lisa (Texas) I wanted to love this thing, based on all the glowing reviews, but I'm like a small number on here and other review sites (I read many many reviews before ordering) that cannot keep this thing in my ear for more than 5 to 10 minutes with any of the earpieces. It sounds good on both ends, but I honestly can't comment on anything other than that because of the above problem.
My adult son has had one and really loved it with no problems. If I can find a way to keep it in place, I may love it. Otherwise, oh well. At least it didn't cost a $100.
