This Wifi b/g wireless moonlight / IR night vision IP camera has its own built in web server. You can view the video from your own local area network or you can configure your router to view and control the camera from computers or cellphones on the internet, without dependence on any third party web sites or subscriptions. With the built-in microphone you can listen in. Excellent MPEG4 video quality at a full 640 x 480 resolution with up to 30 frames per second for fluid, natural motion color. For viewing or recording a single camera no software is required besides just your browser. For viewing or recording multiple Sharx IP cameras the included MultiView software supports up to 4 Sharx IP cameras simultaneously. Truly amazing to see the streaming video on your web enabled cell phone. For frequent use we recommend to upgrade your cellphone service to unlimited data, which costs just $15/mo extra on the ATT network. You can see motion even on non-3G phones like SonyEricsson w580i. If your phone does not support video you can see automatically refreshing JPEG images. At home, you can use this camera with your laptop or iPhone as a baby or pet monitor. The very high light sensitivity in "moonlight mode" allows you to view out from a window to see what's happening in the street as long as there is some background light available. For night vision in absolute, total darkness with no visible light, this camera also has powerful infrared LEDs. If you do not need the IR LEDs consider the SCNC2606. If you need bi-directional audio to talk back in addition to listening, consider the SCNC2601 and SCNC2602W models. Wireless operation supports WEP, WPA, WPA2 encryption.

The Camera delivers exactly as advertised. You pay a premium price for a premium product.
I had some problems to view the Camera online from a remote location because of some home networking complications. The Customer Support was highly qualified and very responsive. They provided me with detailed technical but yet simple instructions on how to make the Camera work within my home network (AT&T Router, Wireless router and VOIP Phone adaptor). After a couple of emails everything worked exactly as advertised.

Not knowing anything about security cameras, I purchased the Sharx camera based on various reviews I read in different websites. I tried it for a week and it might be okay for some people, but it did not work well for me. I adjusted the position of the camera, I adjusted the infrared on the camera, but nothing seemed to improve the night picture. The people at Sharx are fairly prompt at responding to inquiries for help. The short of it: Needless to say, Amazon was gracious in allowing me to return the camera.

I purchased this after buying and returning the Sharx 6206 model, as the moonlight mode on the 6206 did not see well enough in low light to serve as a suitable baby monitor. The night vision mode on the 6207 is great and overall I would recommend any of the Sharx cameras.
The camera comes with a detailed instruction book, written in plain English, that walks you through every step of the setup. I did have a few complications as my new setup on my router was conflicting with the previously established configuration. I sent several questions to Sharx support and got quick responses every time, helping me to establish connectivity with the camera over the internet and configure DDNS.
My only complaint is being unable to hear the sound from the broadcast on my iPhone, but I understand that to be an iPhone issue rather than something with the Sharx camera.
Bottom line, this is a great product and definitely worth the money.

First the good news: This camera did everything it said it would. I was able to set it up on the internet for use with my iPhone and web browser at work. Great! I was really pleased. The manual was very thorough and easy to read and follow.
Now for the bad news: I bought this camera in August of 2009 and used it continuously for a month. After that, it was no longer needed and put away. I took it out last month to set it up again and it will not power up. I have tried different sockets and checked the wires but nothing. I have contacted the company for a replacement and I am waiting to hear from them.
I will report back when I hear from them.

Update: Customer service was outstanding. I explained my problem in an email and after a few attempts at troubleshooting, they asked me to return the unit citing that it was a problem with the adapter. I now have a new unit. I am very pleased with the outcome. However, I will not let it sit in a closet ever again.

I own both the SCNC2606, and the SCNC2607. If you follow the manual to the letter, then the setup is very straightforward. I must add that the technical support is one of the best I have ever dealt with. I contacted them because I wanted to check whether there was a firmware update available for my models, and they responded almost instantly. They applied the update remotely within a few minutes of my confirmation email giving them the green light. The quality of the image is remarkable, and there is a slew of settings that you can tweak to your liking: you can fine-tune the motion sensor, and set it up to trigger video recording, or to send alarms. All in all, a very solid product.
